IWS Mechanical & Electrical in the United Kingdom seeks a Quantity Surveyor to drive commercial management on major water projects. The role is hybrid with a Walsall base and travel to project sites, reporting to the Senior QS and coordinating with managers and subcontractors.
You will prepare budgets, CVRs and final accounts, manage cost tracking and variations, and participate in client meetings. The position offers a contributory pension, car allowance, and diverse project exposure.

An established Principle Contractor and Designer within the MEICA Process sector, IWS M&E’s specialisms include pump diagnostics and refurbishment, turn-key project management, chemical dosing and control, and plant and infrastructure maintenance with emergency response.
An exciting new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team running our biggest water projects, with values from £500k to £5M. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work closely with operational managers and subcontractors across several projects, providing commercial support on site and preparing for client/contractor meetings. You'll ensure all systems are adhered to and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of projects under your control ensuring the successful delivery of all contracts
