Job summary

Matchtech is supporting a well-established contractor in the water and utilities sector in recruiting a Freelance Quantity Surveyor for a long-term contract in Sheffield. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and falls outside IR35, with immediate start available on AMP8 framework projects.

The successful candidate will manage project costs, valuations, and financial reporting, applying NEC contract knowledge to control budgets and drive robust project controls across Yorkshire Water AMP8

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Water, Utilities, or Civil Engineering sectors.

Our client, a well-established contractor in the water and utilities sector, is currently seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role will support major Yorkshire Water AMP8 projects and is located in Sheffield, offering a hybrid working arrangement. The position is outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, valuations, and financial reporting
