Job summary

We Are Footprint is seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across Manchester and the North West. The role requires a commercially astute QS with a background in CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs and workplace refurbishments.

You will manage valuations, final accounts, procurement of subcontractors, and cost reporting while ensuring projects stay within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Good working knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Experience managing projects from £250k to £5m.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and standard QS software.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.

Our client, a reputable North West Contractor, are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. The role will be delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across Manchester and the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with a proven background in CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs, workplace refurbishments and commercial interiors.
