Job summary

The Director of Cost Management at a PQS practice in Hertfordshire is seeking a confident Quantity Surveyor to join and grow the team. The role involves working on projects across offices, car parks, medical centres and healthcare facilities up to £30 million, with site attendance and pre and post contract duties.

Based in Hertfordshire, the ideal candidate will have a Quantity Surveying degree, 3+ years in PQS/consultancy, strong contract administration skills and healthcare project experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years quantity surveying experience in PQS/consultancy.
• Based in Hertfordshire or surrounding area.
• Good contract administration experience.
• Healthcare project experience is a plus.

The Director of Cost Management for a PQS practice in Hertfordshire is looking for a confident Quantity Surveyor to work alongside him as they grow the Quantity Surveying team.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will become part of a Quantity Surveying team who work on an array of projects, including offices, car parks, medical centres, and healthcare facilities across London and the Home Counties, with project values up to £30 million.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will attend site, carrying pre and post contract roles - including contract administration, and much more.

An ideal opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with ambitions to progress to Senior level and who is looking to avoid the London commute.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
• Based in Hertfordshire / surrounding area
• 3+ years quantity surveying experience
• Worked within a PQS / Consultancy practice
• Good contract administration experience
• Any healthcare project experience would be a plus
