Job summary

Foster & May Limited in Cambridge is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. You will work within a small QS team on projects across education, research, commercial and leisure, taking ownership from inception to completion.

The role focuses on pre-contract, cost management, estimating, cost planning and strategic client advisory, with direct interaction with clients and a requirement to run projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree (or similar).
• Experience as a QS within a PQS/consultancy environment.
• Pre- and post-contract experience and ability to run own project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Focus on pre-contract cost management and client advisory services (estimating, cost planning, strategic advice).
• Able to run projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Work with clients across education, research, commercial and leisure sectors.

A young and forward-thinking Quantity Surveying consultancy are seeking a proactive and outgoing Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Cambridge.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a small team of Quantity Surveyor's where they will work on a range of products across education, research, commercial and leisure.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work directly with clients with a focus on pre-contract, cost management client advisory services such as estimating, cost planning and providing strategic advice to clients throughout the pre-construction phase.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree (or similar)
• Quantity Surveying experience within a PQS / Consultancy Environment
• Pre and post contract experience
• Able to run their own project from start to finish
• Good client facing skills
• Car and driver's license
