Job summary

Foster & May Limited, a national construction and property consultancy, seeks a driven Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridge office. You will work with a Senior QS on pre-and post-contract activities and, after a settling-in period, may own projects from inception to completion across education, healthcare, industrial and residential sectors.

Candidates should have a Quantity Surveying degree, be keen to pursue MRICS, and possess pre/post-contract exposure; driving license and car are

• Keen to become MRICS.
• Pre and post contract exposure.
• Residential project experience would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a range of projects.
• Carry out pre and post contract duties.
• Over time, take ownership of own schemes from inception to completion.
• Projects span education, healthcare, industrial and residential sectors.

A national construction and property consultancy are seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Cambridge office.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

Working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor, the new Quantity Surveyor shall be working across an array of projects, carrying out pre and post contract roles. After a settling in period, the successful Quantity Surveyor shall have the opportunity to take ownership of their own schemes, taking them from inception to completion. Project sectors include: education, healthcare, industrial and residential.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Worked within a PQS / Construction Consultancy practice
• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
• Keen to become MRICS
• Pre and post contract exposure
• Residential project experience would be beneficial
• Driving license + car
