Job summary

Damicor in Oxford is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a highly rated consultancy. You will work across a mixed portfolio including commercial, hotel and residential schemes, starting with a £17m Commercial office project and enjoying hybrid working.

You will handle pre and post contract duties, lead client meetings, and manage accounts through the full project lifecycle, with EA/PM knowledge preferred and a clear path for rapid career progression.

Qualifications

• Completed a BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree.
• Must be a PQS / Consultancy background.
• Quantity Surveying background with EA/PM knowledge/experience preferred.
• Able to lead on client meetings and take full project life cycle.
• Pre and post contract knowledge.
• Understanding within the £10M - £30M contract values.

Job description

A highly rated Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor who brings an awareness of post contract duties, but a solid understanding of pre contract.

The role is based in Oxford, with hybrid working availability.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

With great support from the key Directors, the new Quantity Surveyor will be working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, hotel and residential projects across Oxfordshire, starting with a Commercial office scheme worth £17m.

By offering solid pre & post contract duties, you will be supporting key clients of theirs and take charge of your own accounts.

Individuals from a consultancy background will be highly considered, however if you match the sectors please apply if you are a Main Contractor background.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree
• Must be a PQS / Consultancy background
• Quantity Surveying background with EA/PM knowledge/experience preferred
• Able to lead on client meetings and take full project life cycle
• Pre and post contract knowledge
• Understanding within the £10M - £30M contract values
