Job summary

Damicor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 4-6 years of consultancy experience for an upcoming hotel fit-out and ongoing CAT B projects. The role requires MRICS status or progression toward MRICS within 12 months, with a strong life-cycle management skillset and effective client leadership.

There is a requirement to be in the office 3 days a week. With 2 days at home.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

The new Quantity Surveyor will immediately work on a secured hotel fit out in Mayfair, worth £11M and then support on CAT B fit out projects worth £6m & £1.4m respectively.

You will work with JCT/D&B contracts, working with high end clients from a myriad of industries. The Quantity Surveyor will has a strong understanding from inception to completion.

A full spectrum of pre & post contract duties will be expected to be taken on.

There is endless support and encouragement for all Quantity Surveyors to progress.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree
• Must be a PQS / Consultancy background
• Understanding of JCT contracts (range from £2M - £30M)
• Employers Agent knowledge will be a bonus
• Ideally involved in Commercial, Residential or Hotel projects
• Able to lead on client meetings and take full project life cycle
• Pre and post contract knowledge
• MRICS is always important, but experience is key too
