Job description

VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens, and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, offering tailored specialist works to clients across the UK. Our solutions include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair, cathodic protection, steel repair and strengthening, carbon fibre, temporary works, jacking, and bearing replacement. We also provide specialist lightweight decking, access solutions, and are experts in long bridge and cable refurbishment.

We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on projects in the Birmingham area.

You will be responsible for all commercial and contractual matters on your allocated sites and should be able to effectively manage an assistant surveyor to successfully deliver the project(s).

About you

• You will hold an accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
• Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and/or Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience managing NEC forms of contract.
