Job Description
Reporting to the Water Cost and Commercial Lead for the UK, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will primarily work with water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands, with opportunities in the North West of England for consultancy roles. There will also be potential progression into sectors like water, environment, rail, or nuclear.
The ideal candidate will have experience in pre- and post-contract management using NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC forms and procurement within the UK water, environment, rail, or nuclear sectors. They should leverage their project experience to drive efficiencies, manage supply chains, and oversee contracts.
Experience with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build major capital projects is essential. We support personal growth through RICS training, career development, and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Contract duties include feasibility studies, cost planning, tender preparation, tender evaluation, and risk management. Post-Contract duties cover contract administration, cost control, change management, claims, dispute resolution, and final accounts.
