Job summary

Anderselite Ltd in the North West is representing an established main contractor recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.

You will manage procurement, valuations, CVR, forecasting and final accounts on live projects, liaising with clients, subcontractors and project teams across the North West region.

The role offers exposure to a range of North West projects and a supportive commercial team, with emphasis on accuracy, risk management and client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor
• Strong knowledge of valuations, CVR and final accounts
• Experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and commercial awareness

Permanent | North West

Im currently working with an established main contractor that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The business delivers a varied portfolio of construction projects across the North West, covering sectors including commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, leisure, refurbishment and new build.

The Role

Youll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to completion, working closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors.

• Managing subcontract procurement, tendering and package awards
• Preparing and managing valuations and payment applications
• Cost reporting, forecasting and CVR
• Managing variations, change and commercial risk
• Subcontractor account management and payments
• Producing and agreeing final accounts
• Supporting contractual and commercial administration
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, clients and the wider commercial team

About You

Were looking for a Quantity Surveyor with:

• Experience working for a main contractor
• Strong commercial management experience across live construction projects
• Good knowledge of subcontract procurement, valuations, CVRs, forecasting and final accounts
• Experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• A relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification
• Experience across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, leisure or refurbishment projects would be particularly relevant.

North West, with projects across the region and the role based around the companys North West operation.
