Job summary

Foster & May Limited, a nationwide multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join Salisbury. You will work in a collaborative Cost Management team on complex projects valued from £5m upwards, focusing on cost control and contractual relationships.

Ideal candidates will hold a Quantity Surveying degree (or MRICS/AC), have pre/post contract knowledge, and be client-facing. A driving licence and eligibility for security clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or MRICS accreditation required.
• Experience with pre and post contract processes preferred.
• Experience working in the defence sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project finances and contractual relationships.
• Prepare feasibility reports and cost plans.
• Oversee cost management and interim payments.

A nation-wide multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their Salisbury office.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a collaborative Cost Management team, working on complex projects, both pre and post contract, with projects valued from £5m upwards

The Quantity Surveyor will carry out a variety of duties such as monitoring the project finances and contractual relationships, preparing feasibility reports, cost management and interim payments.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Quantity Surveying Degree, or RICS accredited
• Working towards MRICS
• Good pre and post contract knowledge
• Experience working in the defence sector
• Client facing
• Driving licence and car
• British Citizen (needed to obtain security clearance)
