Job summary

Foster & May Limited, a medium sized PQS construction consultancy, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Bristol office. The role involves cost management, estimating and face-to-face work with clients across commercial, education, healthcare and residential projects.

Ideal candidates will have a Quantity Surveyor degree or equivalent, 4+ years PQS experience, and be working toward MRICS, with a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Several years of PQS experience across multiple sectors.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion with limited support.

Responsibilities

• Cost management across projects and accurate estimation.
• Client-facing responsibilities and stakeholder communication.
• Involvement with a variety of sectors and project sizes.

Job description

A medium sized PQS construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Bristol office.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

The Quantity Surveyor will work on a diverse range of projects across an array of different project sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, residential and more.

Day to day the Quantity Surveyor will have a diverse set of responsibilities such as, cost management, estimating and face to face work with clients and more.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Quantity Surveyor degree or similar
• At least 4 years' experience working within a PQS environment
• Confident in completing a project from inception to completion with little support
• Experience working within a PQS / Consultancy practice
• Car + driving licence
• Working toward MRICS
