Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD Bristol-based Quantity Surveyor with a strong drylining background is required to own commercial aspects from procurement to final account. You will monitor budgets, forecast costs and manage valuations and variations on live projects.

In this role you will negotiate with subcontractors, report on financial performance to the wider team and support site managers with cost control, ensuring profitability and timely cash flow across the project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial drylining.
• Strong commercial management and cost control skills.
• Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial risk management.
• Ability to monitor budgets, forecast costs and protect project profitability.

Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary: 55,000- 60,000 (dependent on experience) plus car allowance

Bennett & Game are representing a leading specialist drylining contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The company delivers commercial drylining, plastering, suspended ceilings and associated interior systems across a range of construction projects. With an established presence in the sector and a strong pipeline of work across the South Coast, South West and South Wales, the business offers a varied project portfolio and long-term opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial drylining background to take ownership of project costs, manage commercial performance and work closely with operational teams. The role will be based from the Bristol office, with site visits required as necessary.

• Salary of 55,000- 60,000, depending on experience.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

  Full UK driving licence and flexibility to undertake site visits as required.
