The role focuses on managing commercial aspects of drylining contracts from procurement through final account, with responsibilities including budgeting, cash flow, valuations and variations, while working closely with site teams to protect profitability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial drylining.
• Strong commercial management and cost control skills.
• Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of drylining contracts from procurement through to final account.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and overall profitability.
• Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment and variations.
• Negotiate and agree subcontractor and supplier costs.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing effective cost control measures.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Contracts Managers and the wider commercial team to ensure projects remain financially on track.
