Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a portfolio of high-end residential projects in London and the South East. You will manage budgets, procure subcontractors, prepare valuations and payments, monitor risk, and build strong relationships with clients and supply chain, from pre-construction to completion.

The ideal candidate has main contractor experience, strong numerical and contractual skills, and the ability to lead multiple

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Experience across high-end residential, refurbishment or complex construction projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractor packages and final accounts.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills.
• A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

A highly regarded construction business is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working on a portfolio of high-end residential construction and refurbishment projects.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, project teams and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project budgets, costs and financial reporting.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Preparing valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Managing commercial risk and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Preparing forecasts and monitoring project performance.
• Managing subcontractor accounts through to final account.
• Supporting tenders and pre-construction activities.

About You
