Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their prime central London high-end residential projects. The role is site-based with a head-office backing and covers multi-million pound schemes, including opportunities for progression and occasional home working.

You will manage the full commercial lifecycle on refurbishment and fit-out projects, control budgets, forecasts and procurement, and maintain relationships with private clients and senior leaders across

• 3–6+ years in Quantity Surveying within construction, fit-out, or refurbishment.
• Proven experience delivering high-end residential, luxury fit-out, heritage, or super-prime projects in London.
• Strong cost reporting, forecasting and financial control skills.

Opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with high-end fit-out and residential experience to join a reputable London-based contractor delivering projects in some of the city's most prestigious locations.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, well-established business. This site-based role is supported by our head office in NW3 and covers projects ranging from several million pounds to £50 million. The successful candidate will have strong refurbishment and fit-out experience and a track record of working with main contractors from procurement through to final accounts. You will gain exposure to some of the leading high end projects in London with regular contact with the businesses Commercial Director, offering recognition and fast tracked progression based on merit – As well as 1 day working from home per week!

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

• 3 – 6+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying within construction, fit-out, or refurbishment.
• Proven experience delivering high-end residential, luxury fit-out, heritage, or super-prime projects in London.
• Strong cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control skills.
• Excellent negotiation and subcontractor management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with private clients, consultants, and senior leadership teams.
