Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support civil engineering projects across the UK. Based at head office in Lincoln with nationwide travel, you will manage commercial activities on site, control costs and develop commercial processes with senior management.

The role is long-term freelance, offering hands-on site engagement and potential to help build the commercial team while delivering strong project outcomes.

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Job Title: Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Location: Based head office in Lincoln 2 days per week, travel around sites nationwide 3days per week (hotels etc paid)

Day Rate: per day depending on experience (CIS or limited company)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our busy and successful client working on their sites around the UK

Key Requirements:

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects
• Strong background within civil engineering
• Experience across any civils sector will be considered
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Comfortable taking ownership and working with senior management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
