Job summary

Solum Assets Ltd is seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor for civil engineering packages in Exeter, with future work in Shaftesbury. The role is predominantly site-based and outside IR35, offering a daily rate around £450. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage costs on £1m–£4m schemes across long-term projects.

The main site is Exeter, with NEC contracts and blue-chip clients. You should be self-sufficient, able to run your own workload, and coordinate cost controls and reporting

Qualifications

• Freelance Quantity Surveyor with NEC contract experience.
• Civil engineering project cost management背景 is preferred.

Freelance Quantity Surveyor needed to manage the cost controls and cost reporting on civil engineering projects, typically valued at circa £1m - £4m.

Quantity Surveyor should be self sufficient and be able to manage their own workload and responsibilities. Predominantly a site based role.

Project Details

• The main site is in Exeter, with future work in Shaftesbury
• NEC form of contract
• Reporting to Commercial Manager on project costs

• All clients are large blue chip construction organisations
