Job summary

Toppesfield is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. You will deliver effective commercial management across projects, ensuring financial performance is monitored and managed, while maintaining key contractual relationships.

You will contribute to cost reporting, value work completed, and payments, liaising with clients and the broader team. The role offers a collaborative environment with progression opportunities and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and process financial and project transactions
• Analysis of project costs and preparation of monthly cost reports and commentary for any variance
• Making site visits to carry out inspections
• Liaise with all levels of the construction and professional team, including clients.
• Valuing completed work and applying for payments
• Use systems and processes, allowing effective measurement of commercial performance
• Assist in provide accurate, real time, monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and outcome forecasts
• Attend meetings onsite or elsewhere with the Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers, and other parties as required
• Support the Commercial and Sales team with admin tasks and ad-hoc duties

Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial team. You will benefit from working within a supportive and collaborative learning environment, while playing an integral role in the successful delivery of our projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing effective commercial management across the projects within your remit, ensuring financial performance is closely monitored and managed. You will also play a key role in maintaining and managing important contractual relationships, helping to ensure projects are delivered successfully and in line with commercial and contractual requirements.
