We're working with a major player in the UK infrastructure industry to recruit a proactive and commercially savvy Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor that's continuing to grow across a wide range of sectors, delivering high-quality projects nationwide.

The Role
You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive commercial team, working across projects to ensure robust cost management and contractual compliance. This Quantity Surveyor role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of NEC contracts, who has current experience with final accounts and enjoys mentoring junior team members.


Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, manage, and process financial/project documentation and records
· Carry out cost analysis and provide detailed monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs)
· Lead and support in the agreement of final accounts with clients and supply chain partners
· Conduct site visits to carry out inspections and liaise with delivery teams
· Work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams as a hands-on Quantity Surveyor
· Provide guidance and support to junior commercial staff, promoting team development
· Ensure commercial and contractual compliance in line with NEC contract suite
· Assist with pricing, forecasting, and reporting across multiple live schemes
· Attend client and site meetings as needed


What We're Looking For
· Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
· Solid understanding and hands-on experience with NEC/JCT contracts
· Confident in supporting/mentoring others in the team
· Demonstrable experience in agreeing and finalising accounts
· Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
· Full UK driving licence (site visits required)
