Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of the Nuclear Project’s, based in Chipping Sodbury. You will manage material supply contracts and ensure robust financial performance.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Head of Nuclear, lead contractual administration, and produce timely commercial reports. The role requires NEC contract experience and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantity surveying across allocated contracts.
• Administer NEC contracts, valuations, and compensation events.
• Manage cost, revenue and cash collection across the lifecycle.
• Support procurement and subcontractor engagement.
• Produce commercial reports and forecasts for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and procedures.
• Site visits for audits, meetings and training.

Quantity Surveyor – Nuclear Project’s

We’re hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of the Nuclear Project’s , one of the UK’s most critical infrastructure programmes. Based in Chipping Sodbury, you’ll work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Head of Nuclear to manage material supply contracts and ensure robust financial performance.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Leading Quantity Surveying functions across allocated contracts
• Administering NEC contracts, valuations, and compensation events
• Managing cost, revenue, and cash collection throughout the project lifecycle
