Fawkes & Reece Group in Bristol is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an established regional main contractor working on a £15m centre project. You will assist alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor from early procurement through to final account on this Bristol-based assignment.

The role involves 2-stage tenders, subcontractor procurement, final accounts, CVRs, and frequent client liaison. A clear path for progression and a competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

• BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC required.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC.
• Must live within commutable distance to Bristol.
• Must have the full right to work in the UK.

Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established regional main contractor based in Bristol. The business unit has been established in the region for the last 6 years, growing in presence and undertaking projects across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, social housing and commercial valuing up to £15mil.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an upcoming £15mil project in the centre of Bristol. You will be working on the project from early procurement.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor

• Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders
• Procurement / management of sub-contractor packages
• Deal with final accounts
• Contribute to CVRs
• Liaise with the clients teams

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role

• Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC
• Have experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC
• Must live in a commutable location to Bristol
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
