Job summary

Think Recruitment are partnering with a well-established main contractor to appoint a Quantity Surveyor for their new-build housing division in the Midlands. The role offers hybrid working, based out of the Birmingham office with travel to sites and flexible days from home.

You will take commercial responsibility for social housing projects, with a strong pipeline and long-term career progression in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Background in new-build housing, residential or social housing.
• Main contractor or housing contractor experience.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage projects and workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of new-build housing projects.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.

Quantity Surveyor - New Build Social Housing

Location: Birmingham / Midlands - Hybrid Working Salary: Up to 55,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Benefits Job Type: Permanent

Think Recruitment are working with a well-established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The position sits within their new-build housing division, delivering social housing developments across the Midlands.

The role will be based out of the contractor's Birmingham office, with a flexible working setup split between the office, project sites and a couple of days working from home.

With a strong pipeline of secured work across the region, this is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking for long-term stability, flexibility and career progression.

The Role
