Job summary

NRL is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of a major M&E/building services project in Ardrossan. You will work on NEC4 Option C contracts and coordinate subcontractors.

The role is permanent with a hybrid on-site pattern (approximately three days per week on-site) and offers strong career development plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in M&E, building services, utilities, or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4, specifically NEC4 Option C.
• Experience managing subcontractors.
• Experience on complex, large-scale projects.
• Excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
• Relevant qualifications are advantageous; however, extensive experience is essential.

• Maintain accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting
• Oversee valuations, applications, and payment processes
• Manage change control, variations, and final accounts
