About TradingHub

Founded in 2010, we have grown from a united vision shared between two people to a team of over 140 across London, Toronto, New York and Singapore. We have achieved scale by building the best-in-class surveillance tooling, where our analytics bring the front office risk mindset to the compliance function.

Though we have developed in the trade surveillance arena, we have always been more than that. At heart, we are a finance-focused big data firm. Our goal is to continue creating the world’s leading financial markets analytics platform.

The Role

We are looking for a Quantitative Business Analyst to join our Product team which is responsible for driving TradingHub's product vision and strategy. Their contribution spans all stages of the product development lifecycle, including design, review and enhancements as well as model validation.

The successful candidate will have financial markets analysis skills from either a trading or risk management background, and bring with them a curious nature and hands-on approach. You can expect to work on a range of projects including both short-term and more strategic initiatives, from defining metric requirements to reviewing and testing UI changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and write requirements for new product features
  • Assess existing product features and recommend improvements
  • Investigate data issues in customer or market data feeds
  • Prepare examples and material to support relationship managers in upcoming pitches and customer meetings
  • Support model validation exercises undertaken by our customers to approve TradingHub products
  • Design and test new user interface components
  • Engage with customers to collect product feedback
  • Prototype custom surveillance controls using TradingHub’s proprietary scripting language according to customer requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst working with an IT or quantitative team
  • Solid understanding of at least one asset class e.g. fixed income, commodities etc.
  • Understanding of different derivative trade types and their associated market risks
  • Experience preparing and presenting material to senior stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in clear and succinct terms
  • Understanding of mathematical techniques used in financial markets modelling
  • Intermediate skills in a programming/scripting language such as SQL Python, C# etc.

Life at TradingHub is a rewarding journey within a fast-growing company that thrives on innovation and collaboration. By combining the best of both tech and finance, we’re able to solve complex problems together and deliver meaningful results to our customers. Everybody has value to bring, and we welcome individuality as a key driving force behind our collective success.

Rooted in everything that we do are our core values: Accountability, Ambition, Partnership and Trust. These provide the foundation for a sustainable workplace culture and the platform for you to harness your unique experience and become the best version of yourself. We believe in our people and invest in their growth, and together, we can sit on the right side of history.

Employee Benefits:

  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • Extended parental leave (up to 6 months of fully paid maternity leave)
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Enhanced company pension plan
  • Salary sacrifice scheme
  • 5 days study leave towards professional qualifications
  • Cycle to Work & Techscheme
  • Death in service coverage
