Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Testing Operator to test the functionality of parts and uphold strict quality standards. The role requires a flexible approach, problem solving, and knowledge of health & safety procedures.

Working on rotating morning and afternoon shifts, you will perform mechanical and fastener testing, operate inspection equipment, and collaborate with teams to ensure on-time delivery. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in testing quality and fasteners.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures and TPM practices.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality and Fastener functionality and mechanical testing.
• Operate and maintain inspection machines to ensure output.
• Use measuring equipment and installation tooling.
• Input into the cell operation as a team member and suggest improvements.
• Maintain housekeeping and stock levels to meet minimum requirements.
• Communicate with team members and other process areas to ensure quality.
