Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturing business in its search for a Quality Test Centre Technician to join its Engineering and Quality team. This role offers a three-shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) with premiums and overtime opportunities, in a production environment with clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or quality inspection
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Methodical approach to problem solving and identifying quality issues

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing and analysis of products and materials to ensure specifications are met
• Measure and inspect incoming materials for dimensions and tolerances
• Test metal products and roofing materials to confirm quality standards
• Record test results and maintain quality documentation
• Identify quality issues and report concerns to management
• Monitor testing equipment and perform basic maintenance
• Support product development trials and process improvements
• Carry out finished goods audits and assist with KPIs
• Identify trends in test results and suggest product/process improvements
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures
