Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Production Operative at our Glossop site. You may work across multiple departments including VIM Melting, Raw Material Stores, Moulding, and finishing processes, with duties spanning setup, operation, inspection, and housekeeping tasks.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, health & safety procedures, and the company’s productivity targets. Candidates should be capable of working the PANAMA shift pattern (12-hour shifts, days and nights) averaging 42 hours per week,

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow job instructions / processes.
• Health & Safety awareness at work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products manufactured to high and efficient standard and report issues.
• Complete department paperwork/route cards correctly.
• Follow SOPs and health & safety instructions at all times.
• Maintain 5S/TPM/PPM programs daily.
• Load/unload vehicles and move materials across site.
• Redeploy to support other departments as required.
