Role Overview

As a Quality Technologist, you will work alongside experienced colleagues in a successful operation producing chilled and frozen products for supermarkets. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of quality standards and codes of practice.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Quality Manager, who is committed to coaching and supporting her team, focusing on talent development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting factory operations on technical standards, including OPEX-MS and BRC.
2. Contributing to a strong food safety culture within the technical team.
3. Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality systems, conducting root cause analysis and risk assessments.
4. Maintaining allergen awareness, food hygiene, and HACCP standards, ideally at Level 4.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
• Proficiency in report writing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Attention to detail.
