Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Quality Technician in Cambridge to enhance our client’s Operations Quality team. The role focuses on assembly, inspection and testing of precision components within a Lean manufacturing environment to ensure world-class quality standards.

You will support engineering with prototype builds and process development, analyse inspection data for investigations, and contribute to root cause analyses and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, quality or engineering environment.
• Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience inspecting mechanical and/or electronic components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers or gauges.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the assembly, inspection and testing of precision components and sub-assemblies.
• Performing incoming inspection and quality checks on electronic and mechanical components.
• Supporting engineering with prototype builds, new product introduction and process development.

They are looking for a Quality Technician to join their Operations Quality team, supporting the manufacture of world-class products within a Lean manufacturing environment.
