Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Quality and Safety Facilitator to join the Corporate Nursing team to coordinate quality improvement work across the Trust and support a range of initiatives.

The post holder will be NMC registered with proven experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives and engaging with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement mutually driven schemes.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement schemes.
• Experience learning from patient experience, adverse incidents and complaints.
• Experience in producing verbal and written reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of nursing aspects of the Trust Improvement Plan across clinical areas.
• Provide advice and support to Ward/Department teams on quality and safety issues.
• Contribute to incidents reviews and initial actions following incidents.
