Job summary

Sanofi Inc. is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology in Waterford, Ireland, on a fixed-term 12-month contract.

You will provide microbiology support across QA, validation, and manufacturing, perform QC testing, and ensure compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias while contributing to continuous improvement. Experience in QC microbiology and knowledge of lab systems like LUNA and Trackwise are preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.

Qualifications

• Experience within a QC department in a Pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience in Microbiological techniques.
• Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as Veeva/Qualipso/Trackwise.
• Knowledge of lab management systems such as LUNA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Food science).

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, QP, Validation and Manufacturing on site.
• Review documentation and batch release.
• Offer technical guidance to QC Microbiology and other departments.
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, environmental monitoring, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs and pharmacopeias.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology at cross-functional meetings.
