Job summary

Sanofi Waterford is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology to join the QC team for a fixed-term 12-month assignment. The role involves providing microbiology support, performing QC testing, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias.

You will work closely with QA, validation, and manufacturing, contributing to continuous improvement. We are looking for candidates with a science degree and hands-on microbiology experience in a GMP environment, capable of cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC department within a pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience in microbiological techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. Veeva/Qualipso/Trackwise) and lab management systems (e.g. LUNA).

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, Qualified Persons, Validation, and Manufacturing.
• Documentation and batch release review.
• Provide technical guidance to QC Microbiology and external departments.
• Perform QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs and pharmacopeias.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology in cross-functional meetings.
