Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site quality function in Dundee, integrating strategic quality across manufacturing and customer compliance. You will be part of the Site Leadership Team, shaping how quality is embedded in the business and influencing decisions at the highest level.

You will oversee audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement, mentoring engineers and inspectors and collaborating with global stakeholders to drive risk management and quality strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years' progressive experience in Quality roles within regulated manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years' leadership experience managing Quality teams, including leading leaders.
• Demonstrated experience leading and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
• Proven experience leading internal, external and customer audits with corrective action plans.
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality function for the site, aligning with business and organisational standards.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to Quality teams, including engineers, auditors and inspectors.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers on quality matters, including escalations and corrective actions.
• Establish and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure regulatory and customer compliance.
• Lead internal, external and customer audits, ensuring effective preparation and closure of findings.
• Drive structured problem-solving using root cause analysis to eliminate recurrence.
