Job summary

Care Concern Group in the South East of England is seeking a passionate Quality Manager to lead quality improvements across 15 care homes. You will implement and manage quality and performance frameworks, driving continuous improvement and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role offers a competitive salary (£63,000 per annum) and benefits including a pension, generous holiday allowance, plus laptop and mobile phone.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading quality improvements across multiple care homes.
  • Deep knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality assurance systems and policies.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting to support continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Strategy Framework and assurance meetings.
  • Provide advisory support to achieve regulatory compliance.
  • Develop quality assurance systems with regular reviews.
  • Deliver development sessions to improve outcomes.
  • Ensure policies reflect current legislation and best practice.
  • Develop audits and self-assessment tools.
  • Conduct audits and produce improvement reports.
  • Guide management teams to meet service aims.
  • Run progress reviews and escalate concerns to senior management.
  • Maintain knowledge of guidance and standards and implement new practices.
  • Lead cross-team projects to promote continuous improvement.
  • Support lessons learned and share best practices.
  • Act as brand ambassador promoting company values.

Job description

Care Concern Group is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Quality Manager to join our team in South East England.

With a commitment to excellence, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality improvements across 15 care homes.

As Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care across our homes. You will be responsible for implementing and managing quality and performance frameworks, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards.

Salary: £63,000 per annum.

Quality Manager – Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct an Induction to the Quality Strategy Framework, management teams and chair follow up assurance meetings.
  • Provide advice, support, information, and guidance to assist management teams to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the development of quality assurance systems and processes, including regular reviews to ensure effectiveness.
  • Deliver development sessions to support and improve the outcomes for people.
  • Ensure up to date policies and procedures are in place that reflect current legislation and best practice.
  • Develop audit and self-assessment tools that enable services to be assessed against relevant legislation and best practice guidance.
  • Conduct audits and prepare written reports with recommendations to improve the safety and quality of services.
  • Provide continued guidance to management teams on how to achieve the aims and objectives specific to the needs of the service.
  • Conduct progress review meetings with the management team in line with the audit frequency and monitoring schedule to provide assurances as to whether improvements are being progressed to completion and elevate areas of concern to the senior management team.
  • To maintain a sound knowledge of relevant nationally recognised guidance and standards and ensure new practices are introduced and implemented.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project launch and implementations across the group to promote and influence a continuous culture of improvement.
  • Be integral to the delivery of continuous improvement activities including data analysis, reporting, and supporting lessons learned, best practice sharing and innovative working.
  • To be a brand ambassador. Embed and promote the company values in all quality activities.
