Job summary

MTrec Limited is recruiting a Quality Manager for a specialist manufacturing client to ensure ISO9001 UKAS compliance and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead a small team of 1-2 quality inspectors, coordinate with internal departments and customers, and implement changes to reduce waste and improve efficiency. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with immediate start and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Manager or similar within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
• ISO9001 Auditor qualification and experience.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Comfortable leading a small team of quality inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 UKAS accreditation.
• Responsible for a team of 1-2 Quality Inspectors.
• Manage and coordinate the quality assurance function in close cooperation with internal departments and customers.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use Quality Management Software to track and monitor the progress of orders in the facility, ensuring full traceability at all times.
• Develop and implement changes that reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
