Job summary

MTrec Recruitment represents a specialist manufacturing client in their search for a Quality Inspector in Prudhoe. You will inspect plated and finished components, write procedures, perform FAI, and analyze lab results, using precision measuring tools to ensure traceability and quality.

You will collaborate with production and engineering to support root-cause analyses. The ideal candidate will hold a CIP Level 1 (Level 2 desirable), have experience in manufacturing/engineering, be comfortable

Qualifications

• Quality inspection experience in engineering/manufacturing/chemical processing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards desired.
• NACE / AMPP CIP Level 1 qualification minimum.
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Comfortable working in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plated and finished components at key production stages to evaluate quality standards.
• Write procedural documents.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Conduct lab analysis.
• Safely and effectively use precision measuring equipment (Vernier calipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges).
• Interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Log precise inspection results with full data traceability.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams on root-cause analyses and corrective actions.

About you:

• NACE / AMPP - CIP Level 1 qualification at a minimum (Level 2 highly desirable)

• Experience working as a Quality Inspector or similar within engineering/manufacturing/chemical processing

• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards is desirable

• Comfortable working in a small team

• Good communication skills at all levels
