Job summary

MTrec Recruitment represents a manufacturing client seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. You will inspect components at production stages, conduct First Article Inspections, and log results with traceability.

You will write procedures, analyse lab data, and interpret engineering drawings to support root-cause analyses. The role requires experience as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing, familiarity with ISO9001, and strong communication skills within a small team.

Qualifications

• Must hold CIP Level 1 at minimum; Level 2 is highly desirable.
• Experience as a Quality Inspector or similar in engineering/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a small team.
• Good communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plated and finished components at key production stages to evaluate quality standards.
• Write procedural documents.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Conduct lab analysis as required.
• Safely use precision measuring equipment (Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges).
• Interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Log precise inspection results with full data traceability.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support root-cause analyses and corrective actions.

About you:

• NACE / AMPP - CIP Level 1 qualification at a minimum (Level 2 highly desirable)
