Job Title: Quality Manager
Our client is a well-established industrial manufacturing company based in Denbighshire.
Job Description
- Working closely with all other business functions, you will be responsible for leading the transformation in our quality systems and championing quality within our business.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the group quality management system.
- Plan and ensure the execution of all preventative quality measures.
- Plan and deliver quality training throughout the group.
- Ensure all quality tools are fit for purpose, robust, and efficient.
- Lead the recruitment and development of the Quality team.
- Ensure the group complies with all necessary quality standards.
- Support the resolution of reactive quality issues.
- Monitor and optimize the cost of quality and the cost of poor quality.
- Implement effective KPIs across the business to measure quality performance.
- Support new development projects to meet quality targets.
- Collaborate with all functions to identify and address quality risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.
The Successful Applicant
- Significant experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector.
- Background in industrial engineering or manufacturing preferred, including metal assembly, welding, fabrication, machining, or precision-engineered components.
- Ability to motivate others about the importance and benefits of quality.
- Proven track record of implementing improvements to systems and processes.
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills.
- Experience in developing people within and outside the quality team.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical skills and data utilization.
- Deep understanding of quality management tools and processes.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
