Dunraven Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Manager in Peterborough to lead the site’s Food Safety and Quality function. The successful candidate will deputize for the Technical Manager and manage the Laboratory team while ensuring compliance with BRCGS, HACCP and customer standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Quality Manager or Senior Quality experience within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and food safety legislation.
• Experience managing audits, quality systems and customer requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's Food Safety and Quality function.
• Deputise for the Technical Manager when required.
• Manage and develop the Laboratory team.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP and customer standards.
• Lead customer complaints, investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Drive improvements in GMP, Food Safety and Quality Culture across the site.
• Support customer and third-party audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Work closely with Operations and Engineering to improve quality performance.
• Manage traceability, laboratory performance and supplier quality issues.
• Support NPD projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the site's Food Safety and Quality function.

Desirable Requirements

• Laboratory management experience.
• Knowledge of VACCP and TACCP.
• Experience supporting NPD projects
