This position reports to

Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local organisational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will drive the local quality system through prevention, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions. You will coordinate efforts across functions to meet quality targets, aim for world-class performance, and ensure certification requirements are met.

The work model for this role is: onsite. Main stakeholders include Local Sales Organisation, R+D, External Customers, and Operations. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Influencing and consulting with management to shape the design and development of your functional area for improved performance.
• Ensuring effective communication related to the quality management system.
• Implementing strategies and plans to develop the quality management system based on risks and opportunities, in collaboration with the local management team.
• Establishing a closed-loop quality cycle from product development to customer feedback to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications for the role

• Engineering qualification with a strong IoT/electronics background.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 with lead auditor certification.
• Experience managing a QMS in manufacturing.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
• Leadership skills with team management experience.
• Collaborative, open-minded, and self-motivated team player.
