Job description

A leading UK company that manufactures protection relays and medium voltage circuit breakers for highly critical electrical power systems across a global client base is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Quality Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager, preferably with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and ideally with switchgear experience and product manufacturing.

You will receive a competitive salary, along with 25 days holiday with annual increases & a company pension scheme.

Your duties will include:

1. Overseeing the processes and procedures of the business and ensuring compliance
2. Following the end-to-end process from design to the final product build
3. Being the leading point of contact for customer-led audits and ISO 9001 surveillance and recertification
4. Liaising across all areas of the business as well as externally with clients and suppliers

We’re looking for a Quality Manager with:

1. HNC/HND with relevant experience or BSc/BEng Electrical / Mechanical Graduate
2. Working experience in a similar role, in a related business/environment
3. Good communication skills
4. Excellent IT/computer skills
5. Confident and good organisational skills
