Job summary

TN Talent Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function and drive continuous improvement in Derbyshire.

As Quality Manager you will oversee quality operations, ensure ISO 9001 compliance and manage audits, investigations and CAPA, collaborating with production and senior management to maintain top quality standards across the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Manager or senior Quality leadership position within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
• Experience managing audits, investigations and corrective actions.
• A hands-on, proactive approach with a genuine passion for quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the quality function, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.
• Manage and improve quality management systems, procedures and processes.
• Oversee quality investigations, non-conformances, root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and performance.

The Role

As Quality Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing quality operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and driving improvements across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing quality investigations, non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA).

• Leading internal and external audits and ensuring effective follow-up actions.
• Working closely with production, operations and senior management teams.
• Monitoring quality performance, identifying trends and implementing improvements.
• Developing and supporting a proactive quality culture across the business.

About You

• Previous experience in a Quality Manager or senior Quality leadership position within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
• Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead quality improvements and manage compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing audits, investigations and corrective actions.
• Confident communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
