Quality Manager - MOD Procedures

Location: Cambridge

Commutable from Royston, Haverhill, Saffron Walden

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Our client is a family business within Aviation Engineering. Established over 30 years ago, they have grown into a provider of aviation maintenance and restoration services. The role involves regular contact with the Ministry of Defence and the Military Aviation Authority, and is suitable for someone with over 5 years of experience in an aviation company's quality department.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Managing the Quality procedures and QMS on-site
2. Liaising with the MOD and Military Aviation Authority
3. Creating and writing Quality Procedures
4. Conducting internal and external audits
5. Reviewing audits and developing corrective and preventative action plans

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Over 5 years of experience in the aviation industry
2. Over 5 years of experience in a Quality role
3. Knowledge and experience working with the MOD and Military Aviation Authority
4. Qualifications in Quality
5. Qualifications related to Engineering and/or Aviation

Desirable:

• BCAR Section L or UK Part 66 Licence
