Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead site quality activities and drive a strong food safety and quality culture across the operation.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will maintain the site's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory standards while leading and developing the QA team through coaching and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within food manufacturing.
• Experience managing or supervising teams.
• Internal auditing experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS and customer requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the Quality Assurance team.
• Promote and drive a positive food safety and quality culture.

Our client is a successful manufacturing business looking to appoint an experienced Quality Manager to lead site quality activities and drive a strong food safety and quality culture across the operation.

The Role – Quality Manager

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the site's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety, quality and regulatory standards.

You will lead and develop the QA team, working closely with operational departments to drive best practice and continuous improvement throughout the business.
