Senior Recruitment Manager at Willmott Dixon

Quality Delivery Manager:

At Willmott Dixon Interiors, we take pride in delivering excellence in construction projects. We are a leading main contractor with a reputation for quality and innovation. Our success is driven by our exceptional teams, and we are currently looking for a dynamic Quality Delivery Manager to join our team based in a secure environment on site in Aldermaston. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile research facility responsible for the design, manufacture and support of UKs nuclear deterrent programme.

Why We Need You:

As a Quality Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects. Your expertise will be critical in delivering compliant and defect-free projects. You will lead, mentor, and support our project teams, promoting a culture of quality excellence. You will work very closely with the client team to adhere to and improve quality standards. You will be responsible for ensuring that our team meet quality standards, often within a high-security environment

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Be the driving force in implementing our 'Quality Delivery' agenda throughout the business. Your influence will shape our commitment to quality. Work closely with the client team on site and to their processes.
  • Team Engagement: Spend time with our delivery teams, emphasizing the importance of quality and guiding and coaching them on this journey.
  • Quality Planning: Lead, support, and mentor delivery teams to establish Quality Plans before projects begin on site.
  • Early Engagement: Collaborate with our Supply Chain Partners, with a specific focus on design portions. We believe in teamwork and building strong relationships. You will work closely with delivery teams, design teams, and supply chain partners to ensure the best outcomes for our projects.
  • Preconstruction Support: Work closely with preconstruction to identify critical design specification requirements, bridging gaps to ensure clarity at the tender stage, which can inform cost and program. Support work winning teams.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Attend design validation meetings to ensure lessons and best practices are shared.
  • Strengthen Relationships: Lead the development of relationships with client, supply chain partners and manufacturers, organizing workshops as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually gather and share best practices and lessons learned to drive our commitment to quality.

What We're Looking For:

Attributes: We're seeking individuals who thrive on:

  • Building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Supporting teams in maintaining robust processes.
  • Influencing and persuading others towards a commitment to quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction (or nuclear) industry.
  • A deep understanding of quality delivery procedures.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Adept with Quality Improvement Tools & Techniques

The nature of our work does mean you need to have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The opportunity to work on an exciting, high-profile research facility responsible for the design, manufacture and support of UKs nuclear deterrent programme.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Professional development and growth opportunities.

At Willmott Dixon we provide an inclusive and flexible working environment for people to thrive in and we are happy to support agile working wherever possible.

We are a proud member of the Disability Confident Scheme.
