We are... Octavius Infrastructure. A leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable transport solutions across the UK.
As part of the iconic HS2 programme, we’re supporting the delivery of one of the country's most significant infrastructure projects. We’re now looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team on the EKFB section of HS2, helping to ensure that quality, technical assurance and completions standards are achieved from construction through to handover.
At Octavius, we don't just build infrastructure, we build it right. Quality, safety and collaboration sit at the heart of everything we do.
Be a key member of the project team, driving a culture where quality is planned, delivered and evidenced throughout the construction lifecycle.
You’ll take ownership of quality management processes across the project, ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with HS2 requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations.
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with engineers, site teams, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure quality remains at the forefront of delivery.
Project Managers, Site Engineers, Section Engineers, Temporary Works Coordinators, Design Teams, Document Controllers and Supply Chain Partners.
You’ll regularly engage with EKFB and HS2 stakeholders, providing assurance that works are being delivered in accordance with project requirements and that quality records support successful completion and handover.
You’ll act as the vital link between design, engineering, construction and completion teams, ensuring nothing falls through the gaps.
You’re passionate about delivering quality infrastructure and understand that quality goes beyond compliance, it's about embedding the right behaviours and standards across a project.
You take pride in your attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the bigger project picture. You’re confident challenging poor practice, coaching teams on quality requirements and driving continuous improvement.
You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment, managing multiple priorities whilst ensuring quality standards are never compromised.
Above all, you’ll bring energy, integrity and a commitment to delivering work that meets the highest standards of quality, compliance and safety on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
