Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd. is seeking a Quality Manager for our Head Office in Banbridge. You will lead the Quality team across the Fabrication unit, driving standards and embedding quality in all processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will coach, mentor and develop quality professionals, partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Technical, Supply Chain and Leadership teams, and use lean techniques to pursue continual improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll be Doing

The role involves leading and developing the quality function across the business unit, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership and effective decision-making to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory and business requirements. It requires using data and performance insights to identify trends, strengthen quality controls and preventative actions, and drive continual improvement through lean techniques and effective resource allocation. The position also focuses on coaching, mentoring and developing quality professionals to build capability, while working closely with customers, suppliers and third-party inspectors to support audits, maintain compliance with quality standards and management systems, and deliver successful outcomes. In partnership with leadership teams, the role will support business growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.
