Job summary

E3 Recruitment is recruiting a Quality Inspector for a leading UK automotive manufacturer. You will support the QA/QC team, test and inspect vehicles, report issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities include inspecting semi-finished and finished vehicles, interpreting drawings, and maintaining clear records. The role offers a circa £30k-£35k salary, permanent contract, standard hours, early finish Fridays, and overtime paid at 150%.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) is desirable.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving using data-driven approaches.
• Proficient computer literacy (MS Word and MS Excel).
• Quality inspector / QA / PDI experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspector testing and inspection of semi-finished and finished vehicles, ensuring any issues are identified and recorded.
• Ensure products, services, and processes comply with required quality standards and specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications to verify product compliance.
• Support the delivery and release of completed vehicles following inspection and testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inspection results.
